You must now pay for memberships and Press Club entries separately due to the constraints of our site.

Paying for memberships

You must be a member of the Press Club to enjoy the member rate of $10 per contest entry. A membership also gives you entry into the annual conference. If you are not a member, each entry costs $15.

There are three types of memberships:

- Regular (Full or part-time employed journalists): $30
- Student: $10
- Associated (Former, or non-working journalists): $45

You can pay for memberships directly to Alaska Press Club account using the PayPal link below. Please use the “Special Instructions” link after you enter your credit card number to tell us your name and email address. You may also pay by check. Send a note with your name, affiliation and email address to Alaska Press Club, PO Box 143426, Anchorage, Alaska, 99514. (If you are paying for multiple memberships, please provide a list with names and email addresses.)

Regular membership: $30

Student membership: $10

Associated membership: $45 (Former journalists)

Paying for entries

1) Enter the contest at www.betternewspapercontest.com.

2) Keep a total of your entries. You can find a entry total by clicking “manage entries” in your entry profile.

3) Choose either the member or non-member PayPal link below.

4) Chose the option to pay by credit card and enter your credit card number.

5) On the “confirm entry” page that appears after you enter your credit card number, you will see a link to “special instructions.” Please enter the names of individual entrants and number of entries.

You may also pay by check. Just send a note with the name of the entrant, whether they are paying the member or non-member rate, and number of entries to Alaska Press Club, PO Box 143426, Anchorage, Alaska, 99514.
