Paying for memberships

Individuals must be members of the Press Club to enjoy a reduced price on contest entries. A membership also gives you entry into the annual conference.

There are three types of memberships:

General Members are owners and employees of newspapers, radio stations, television stations, magazines, news services, cable and online news sources, as well as freelancers and journalism educators. ($30)

Associate Members are former journalists and others who support the objectives of Alaska Press Club. ($45)

Student Members are full-time students or part-time students who are considering a career in journalism. ($10)
