Public Access to Court Electronic Records with Seamus Hughes

Seamus Hughes is known for navigating the federal court’s PACER system to reveal news in obscure court documents. He says the information is there, you just need to know how to look. Hughes has provided training opportunities for The New York Times, ProPublica, Associated Press, Washington Post, major television networks and more. Now, he’ll show Alaska Press Club members how to uncover important news by using his methods to discover hard-to-find court cases.
