In partnership with the Alaska Center for Excellence in Journalism Fund,  Alaska Press Club offers travel assistance awards for working journalists and journalism students to attend the annual J-Week professional conference. Our conference will be held April 16-18, 2026 in Anchorage.

Early application deadline is Feb. 2 and late deadline is Feb. 23, 2026

The awards are for reimbursement for travel expenses, redeemable by successful applicants after submitting their travel expense receipts following travel to the conference. These funds can be used for airfare, ferry or mileage reimbursement.
